{confession}

So I have a confession and a question. I've noticed in the past couple of years that my jeans are wearing out where my thighs touch. Yes, my thighs touch when I walk. *sigh* Even at my thinnest, they still touched up at the top, but I never noticed my jeans wearing there until now.

That is another big weight loss factor- I'm going through jeans like crazy (like a pair every 6 months). I mean, every other part of the pants looks great, except for the thigh. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I'm just buying cheap denim. Hmmmm.....

I have that problem too! On my favorite jeans that I don't want to part with, I put an iron-on patch in the thighs.

I totally have this problem. My Sevens, Citizens, and Old Navy they all have that problem. My husbands do too and he's a guy. You would think with the nice jeans they wouldn't have this problem, but they do! I know both of my sisters have the same issue as well. No worries!

MY DO TOO... sucks but I just iron on patches and sometimes just let there be holes. Sucks...

Mine do this, too.. although that shouldn't surprise me or anyone else. One of my goals in life is to have my thighs someday separate. Really, they need to just go their own ways.

SO thinking about your HcG thing, I think it's a terrible way to diet. I totally don't agree with it for anyone, no matter their age/weight/anything. I actually just read an awesome book and bought it. It's called Intuitive Eating and talks about how dieting actually works against the body. Our bodies are biologically trained to prepare for famine. (Even though we don't have those anymore.) So any time period of going without food tells our body that "famine's a'comin!" and to store all the fat it can. So as soon as we stop dieting, we gain all our weight back and then some.

Anyway, it's got more than that in the book. It's just really awesome. Watching my Aunt die from an eating disorder just last week really put everything into perspective for me. I'm not dieting. Ever. I will eat what I want, when I want, but I will only eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. And I will exercise because I WANT to, not because I feel I have to.

I would love to get together next time. I couldn't this last week because of the funeral. So, let me know!

I'm loving Katies comment. She is so right on about everything. The HCG diet has hit Az. and a girl in my ward has been doing it and has lost all this weight, but she is restricted to 500 calories a day. Wouldn't you lose that much just with eating 500 cal. and not taking the shots? YEP, you would. My husband showed me pictures of people that take the growth hormone and crazy things happen to them. Bones grow, your jaw and cheek bones enlarge and it just looks so funky. THose poor girls who are doing this need to do a little extra research before they hurt their temples. Gosh, I just went off. Sorry!
Ohhh I would love to know what book Katie is talking about?
