{everybody was kung fu fighting}

So, now that I'm walking/jogging (I haven't quite made it to running full speed yet) I decided to post some good, exercise music. Not just any good stuff, but the "I'm gonna get my funky freak nasty super run groove on!" kinda music that makes you move faster and lift stronger!

Today as I was jogging, my favorite song came on. Kung Fu Fighting. Don't pretend you don't love it too! I got so caught up in the song, that I couldn't help but do a few karate chops as I ran. Then, to spice things up a bit, I karate chopped at a few cars passing by. I'm sure there are a few folks in Utah now that will say, "Oh my gosh, you'll never believe what I saw when I was driving today! Some chubby gal was karate chopping as she ran!" Maybe I could make a lot of money like the Tai-bo guy or the Turbo Jam lady and make a karate chop/jogging video. The best part about all of it was that I didn't care what they thought of me or my karate chopping actions. I was having fun, and I'm pretty sure that's all that matters!

Anyway, my play list is on the right, but if I'm missing any real good songs (you know, the ones that you just have to move to), you just let me know and I'll add them!

oh how fun! I haven't really gotten a chance to buy music purposely for working out. I do like must of Ashlee Simpson and Madonna for working out.

We are SO much alike. Whenever that songs come on, I just start karate choping everyone and everything. Alex thinks I'm crazy. It's a great song! We should get together this up coming week. Hope you had a good time in Dallas!

I love that you were karate chopping! You're so hilarious and awesome! love it love it! Yeah, for sure, we gotta meet up! We would have a blast! We could go to Olive Garden and eat eat eat and then we could work off the calories by jogging and karate chopping! I'm so glad you were having fun jogging -- that's what it's all about! I just need to get to that fun place. I think what I really need to do is make a super awesome play list like you! I am really digging all of your tunes! This blog post inspired me to finally charge up my ipod! I've been so bad and haven't used it in forever! Maybe there is a connection to why I haven't been to the gym in forever? ok, fine, I can't blame my ipod! haha. Lovin your new blog! Oh, and one more thing - I'm so glad your mom and dad are keeping the kitten! You'll have to let me know what they choose to name her! She is so adorable and it's nice she has a good home and you can visit her! yay!

That's funny I was just thinking tonight that I need to make a cd of work out music with a great beat to help preform my best. Thanks for some nice music ideas!
